Here's an overview giving an insight into our successful 2025 event.
April 2025 marked a remarkable milestone — 25 years since Craft In Focus staged its very first event at Guildford University and opened the doors on 15 April 2000. Since then, we have grown to become the UK’s leading organiser of contemporary craft fairs, staying true to our ethos of showcasing only the finest British craftmakers and artists.
Unlike many other events, we strictly prohibit imported or mass-produced work, ensuring visitors are purchasing work direct from the makers selected to exhibit with us. This dedication has set us apart, earning us an outstanding reputation and redefining the way the public perceives craft fairs.
“After just a few years organising our events, one organiser accused me saying ‘but you are just cherry picking the best craft makers for your shows’. I was very proud to reply ‘Yes’, and we still do.” - Rob Chapman, Founder and Owner
“Best craft fair that we’ve been to.”
– T Furze, Much Hadham

“Amazing variety of really high-quality art and crafts. Blown away by the standard of craftsmanship. This is not your ordinary craft fair.”
– A Dorin, Gosport
“Wonderful event showcasing such a great range of British talent, skill and creativity. My partner, (who quite expected to choose to meet me in the cafe because he hates being dragged round these things), loved it just as much.”
–F Hooper
